BACKGROUND
Beyond academic credentials, certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) indicates that you’ve gained invaluable knowledge in project management. This course is based primarily on the latest PMI® “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, Sixth Edition”, (PMBOK® Guide) standards that covers the five project management process groups and ten knowledge areas. The 4-day boot camp is a comprehensive course that is designed to prepare candidates to pass the CAPM® exam at first attempt.

METHODOLOGY
The course structure is based on PMBOK® Guide from the Project Management Institute, www.pmi.org. Various industries examples and case studies are used, as participants expect to see different industries’ project situations in the CAPM® examination. Knowledge areas questions, chapter test and final test questions and answers are included to simulate the examination process.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW:
Agile is a topic of growing importance in project management. The marketplace reflects this importance, as project management practitioners increasingly embrace agile as a technique for managing successful projects. The PMI-ACP certification recognizes an individual’s expertise in using agile practices in their projects, while demonstrating their increased professional versatility through agile tools and techniques. In addition, the PMI-ACP certification carries a higher level of professional credibility as it requires a combination of agile training, experience working on agile projects, and examination on agile principles, practices, tools, and techniques. This global certification also supports individuals in meeting the needs of organizations that rely on project practitioners to apply a diversity of methods to their project management.
In this training session, candidates will apply the generally recognized practices of project management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) to successfully manage projects. The aim of this course is to help participants take their project experience and knowledge to a higher level. If you have already completed a basic project management course or have 2 or more years’ experience of working on projects, this course is for you. You will be enabled to place your experience within a framework of tools and best practices that are aligned to the knowledge areas of PMBOK® Guide. The course will challenge you to become aware of the strengths of your current practices and examine how you can deepen your knowledge of and skills in using project management methodology and tools.
The course also equips you to deal with medium to large projects across different sectors (private, government or NGO). The facilitator will get you to focus on an actual project that you are currently working on or will be working on in the near future and apply the tools and methodology to that project. Each person will be expected to produce and present a scope statement, Gantt chart, stakeholder management plan, and budget and risk plan to the rest of the group.

Introduction
SCRUM Master training is designed to confirm applicant’s practical and working knowledge of SCRUM that equips them to handle the business aspects and stakeholders in an SCRUM environment. SCRUM Master represents the interests of the stakeholders in the SCRUM Team. Commonly called ‘the voice of the customer’, the SCRUM Master is responsible for ensuring clear communication of or service functionality requirements. The SCRUM Master also prioritizes the requirements from the point of view of an end user, for maximum business benefit, defines the acceptance Criteria and ensuring those criteria are met. Implementing an SCRUM project management practice improved their ability to manage changing priorities. SCRUM is perfect for any project that requires a series of versions or iterations that need to be reviewed and improved on until the final is ready for prime time. For example, instead of waiting six months for a deliverable that is either flawed or no longer meeting the current requirements, SCRUM lets you produce a first draft within as little as two weeks (or less) for immediate feedback—and from here you can improve upon each version until it’s complete.
