Workshop Synopsis (Abstract):
The pandemic or COVID-19 has severely bringing negative impact to some major industries worldwide, and with the close relationship with the industry, it eventually impacts the life of a Project Manager.
Depends on the severity, some Project Manager might incapable of handling the virus outbreak conditions which change the way we usually run the business. An experienced Project Manager will adopt to the change faster but for some others, they will get into trouble due to inability to handle the stress.
Some projects under contracts may ended up in the clause of Force Majeure, but many may still survive with an extension of any of the project’s triple constraints (scope, resource or time). Management supports will be essential to overcome all the challenges and as a Project Manager, we just have to move forward with the latest IT technologies or methods that works to help us accomplishing the project goals.
This 1.5 hour talk aims to provide you a high level changes in the Project Manager’s role. It is a compilation of various articles on how professional PM will behave and how they strive to win the projects. In addition, participants will hear the norms that PM handled today situation and given some useful tips to help PM implements future project more productive and effectively.
