In today’s high-pressure work environments, stress management is not just a personal requirement but a professional necessity. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) offers innovative strategies to not only manage but transform stress through acceptance, mindfulness, and value-driven action. This workshop introduces the core principles of ACT, emphasizing practical techniques like cognitive defusion and mindfulness to improve stress resilience. Participants will learn to align their actions with their values, enhancing their effectiveness and satisfaction in both personal and professional spheres.

Program objectives:

Participants will engage in a dynamic learning experience that aims to:

  1. Develop skills in mindfulness techniques to manage present-moment stress and enhance focus.
  2. Learn and apply cognitive defusion strategies to handle intrusive thoughts and emotional responses more effectively.
  3. Identify personal and professional values and understand how commitment to these values can guide stress management strategies and workplace decisions.
  4. Create actionable plans to integrate ACT principles into daily routines, fostering a healthier work environment and personal well-being.
